Next 'Noon Meal Formation': Monthly luncheons 4th Friday of month normally at 11:30 at the All American Diner, 212 S. Air Depot, Midwest City. Meet with fellow members, discuss current business & talk about future events.
Planned 2025 Events: 2025 Chapter Events and Activities. We brainstormed ahead for a full year of great activities for chapter members to enjoy in 2025. The primary purpose is to provide mutual support and fellowship opportunities for USAFA cadets and the local grad community in Central OK, so we hope to see more of you in the coming year. Our plan is to select key events and identify dates as well as seek project officers in January 2025 to plan the events. Here's the list: Founders' Day (Apr 26); possible Deep Deuce pregame/Thunder basketball game outing, hosting the USAFA Marathoner Club when they travel to OKC in April for the annual Memorial Marathon. In June we will have the Annual Cadet Candidate Send-off Brunch in conjunction with the Oklahoma USAFA Parents Club, and our fifth annual Beer and Wine Social to round out the first half of the year. In the fall, we will be planning watch parties for at least four football games to include Navy (Oct 4), and Army (Nov 1, and two more among Mountain West Conference foes based on the tv schedule once it comes out. Other possible events throughout the year may include wrestling or gymnastics team competitions when they compete against OSU; volunteer events to assist the OK Regional Food Bank pack foodstuffs for needy individuals and families; Red Cross blood donations; and perhaps even a dinner theater or river cruise outing. |
