The chapter won Distinguished Chapter in its first year of eligibility. The chapter was very active with chapter watch parties, meetings, and outings before COVID struck. Though limited by COVID for the last 9 months, the chapter still mustered virtual Academy football watch parties, Zoom meetings, holiday contributions to OK Food Bank, Toys for Needy Kids, and the Tinker AFB Airmen's Readiness Center. A big holiday event was grads, parents, and cadets gathering outside at Fairlawn cemetery to lay wreaths at veteran gravesites for Wreaths Across America. The chapter is setting up a cadet orientation flight program with guidance from the AOG in response to an offer from two member pilots for flights in their civilian aircraft. Pictured with the new Chapter flag (L to R) are Lee Curtis, Chris Havenridge, Jeff Kindschuh, Jeff Wagner, Walt Givens, member of the 1st class of Academy graduates in 1959, Kurt Steeby, and John Justice. Chapter president Chris Havenridge is pictured with his family in the 2nd photo with other grads and at the far end of the table is Suzanne and Kevin Cook, parents of JR Cook, class of 2023. Third picture is Board of Directors member John Justice (left) and Parents Club liaison Lee Curtis whose daughter is a 2017 grad. The last two photos show Jeff Wagner, Chapter Treasurer and Jeff Kinschuh and good friend Kris.
